The Biotage wizard guides users step-by-step through the set-up of experiments and includes assistance in converting conventional conditions to microwave synthesis parameters.

The Initiator with built-in screen and computer fits easily into any standard fume hood.

Fully integrated computer
Load and run your samples using a touch screen for simple and intuitive navigation without the need for an external computer, keyboard or mouse. Results can be emailed directly to the user after a run, or downloaded through the USB port at the front of the instrument.

 0.2 to 20 mL without system modifications
With the EXP (expanded volume range) function, use four different vial sizes in any order or combination at any time, without system modifications, for greater flexibility and direct scale-up of milligrams to grams.

Modular design
The Initiator is already prepared for a Robot Eight or Robot Sixty due to its modularity.  The system can easily be upgraded from a single-sample manual format to an automated 8- or 60- position system.

Enhanced Heating Performance
The single-mode applicator and the Dynamic Field Tuning™ features offer faster and more powerful (400 W) heating of a broader range of solvents.  The new setting for low microwave absorbing solvents enhances the heating for e.g. toluene and 1, 4-dioxane.
