Read below for instructions on installing FULL and 25 g SNAP Software Updates

SPX FULL SNAP cartridge installation instructions

Prerequisites:
The systems that does not have any SNAP cartridges installed
(the SNAP 10 g, 25 g, 50 g, 100 g and 340 g will be installed)

1. Download the file "install_snap_full.zip" (compressed .exe file).
2. Unzip the file to a usb memory stick. A folder named "install_snap_full" will be created containing two installation files.
3. Shut down the SPX software on the instrument.
4. Insert the memory stick into one of the usb ports on the SPX instrument.
5. Restart the system.
6. Execute the file "install_snap.vbs" located in the "install_snap_full" folder and follow the instructions displayed.
7. Restart the SPX software on the instrument.

SPX 25 g SNAP cartridge installation instructions

Prerequisites:
The system already has the SNAP 10 g, 50 g, 100 g and 340 g cartridges installed
(only the SNAP 25 g needs to be installed)

1. Download the file "install_snap_25.zip" (compressed .exe file).
2. Unzip the file to a usb memory stick. A folder named "install_snap_25" will be created containing two installation files. 
3. Shut down the SPX software on the instrument. 
4. Insert the memory stick into one of the usb ports on the SPX instrument. 
5. Restart the system.
6. Execute the file "install_snap_25.vbs" located in the "install_snap_25" folder and follow the instructions displayed.  
7. Restart the SPX software on the instrument.
