LysM C-terminal separation on Resolux 120
The LysM domain is involved in the regulation of the interaction between plants and rhizobial bacteria to promote plant growth. The C-terminal of the LysM domain is difficult to synthesize, consequently leading to several amino acid deletions during solid phase peptide synthesis. The chromatogram shows a crude synthetic sample of the C-terminal sequence of the LysM domain efficiently being separated from a peptide which differs in only one amino acid.

Column: Resolux 120, C18, 4,6 x 150 mm
- Eluent A: H2O; 0.1% TFA.
- Eluent B: CH3CN; 0.1% TFA
- Elution gradient: Eluent B 10-50% in 32 min.
- Flow rate: 1 mL/min

Heptad repeat sequence separation on Resolux 200
The heptad repeat sequences are amphipathic peptides which are involved in a-helical coiled-coils and have been used for the De novo design of protein structures. Consequently, they have been a subject for extensive research. The chromatogram shows a crude synthetic sample of a 31-mer heptad repeat peptide efficiently separated from side products formed during solid phase peptide synthesis.

- Eluent A: H2O; 0.1% TFA

- Elution gradient: Eluent B 20-50% in 48 min

Peptide chemists typically have a broad range of requirements for their analytical chromatography. Biotage offers many dimensions of each Resolux product line. Peptide chemists can select between three different internal diameters; 2.1, 3.0 and 4.6 mm, where each is available in three different lengths; 100, 150 and 250 mm. |

When peptide chemists need to collect samples of their isolated compounds, larger columns with more capacity are needed. Biotage offers Resolux as semi-preparative and preparative columns with internal diameters of 10 mm and 20 mm. Each of these columns are available in lengths of 100, 150 and 250 mm. |

Applying guard cartridges as in-line front end protection of HPLC columns can significantly increase the life of the HPLC column. Biotage offers Resolux guard cartridge at analytical scale with 4.5 µm particles, as well as semi-prep and preparative scale with either 4,5 or 10 µm particles. |
