Chemists at NIDA have developed a non-targeted LC-QTOF acquisition method for confirming 47 synthetic cannabinoid metabolites in human urine. A review published on kurabiotec.com compares this optimized sample preparation with a previous method from 2013. The optimization was performed with Kura BG100® hydrolysis followed by ISOLUTE® SLE+ in order to “reduce costs and minimize instrument downtime”. With the upgrade, a high-throughput screening method was made possible.
