A new application note illustrates the synthesis of a complex multi-branched peptide by means of a clean and simple user interface called Branches™, unique to Biotage.
There is growing interest in the therapeutic potential of branched peptides. Constructing dendritic peptides with different peptide branches can be very challenging, and automating such a synthesis is also difficult. This new application note describes the synthesis of a complex multi-branched peptide on a lysine scaffold and how these automation challenges can be operationally simplified using the innovative Branches™ tool on Biotage® Initiator+ Alstra™ microwave peptide synthesizer.
