ISOLUTE® PAH layered cartridges remove polar interferences from the final PAH extract, so they cannot interfere in the subsequent analysis. They are particularly useful when the natural water sample has a high concentration of humic acids, as ISOLUTE® PAH contains C18 sorbent for retention of the PAHs, plus a layer of NH2 sorbent which acts as a scavenger and prevents humic interferences from contaminating the extract.
