DryDisk®-R
Efficient solvent drying
DryDisk®-R separation membranes are an efficient way of drying solvents in organic extractions.
DryDisk®-R separation membranes provide an efficient, physical method for drying solvents in organic extractions, offering clear advantages over traditional sodium sulfate. Because they rely on membrane-based separation rather than a chemical drying process, they avoid issues such as over-saturation, clogging, oven drying, contamination, and the loss of water-soluble compounds.
They require no special preparation, generate no hazardous waste, and eliminate analyte adsorption losses or the introduction of contaminants. In addition, the separated water can be re-extracted if needed, and the membranes offer effectively unlimited capacity for water.
Paired with the DryDisk® Solvent Drying System, up to eight separations can be run simultaneously via connection to a single vacuum manifold.
