Biotage® Sfär columns are designed to tolerate a very high pressure. For this reason they might sometimes be a bit tight, which is why we made available a tool to open them so you can experience all the possible ways to load your sample on Biotage® Sfär.
Samplet®
Prepacked Samplet® cartridges allow purification of liquid samples in a dry form, eliminating solvent impact. They are available in the same media types available for Biotage® Sfär columns. Samplet® cartridges are inserted into the columns and should have the dissolution solvent evaporated prior to insertion by air or vacuum oven. Note: these are single-use items.
Empty Samplet®
Samplet® cartridges are also available empty, to be packed with the media of choice and then inserted into the Biotage® Sfär columns. The dissolution solvent should be evaporated prior to insertion by air or vacuum oven. Note: these are single-use items.
DLV plunger
Biotage® Sfär columns have provided theability the dry load, but sometimes the amount of adsorbent needed exceeds the internal capacity. When that situation arises, the DLV offering provides a solution. Note: DLV plungers are rated to 20 bar maximum pressure.
