DEAE PhyTip® columns bring weak anion exchange chromatography into a compact, automation-ready pipette-tip format for high-throughput protein purification, enrichment, and polishing. They're packed with DEAE PuraBead® HF, a weak anion exchange resin from Astrea Bioseparations built on their PuraBead® 6HF agarose technology, known for strong flow properties and broad use across capture, intermediate purification, and polishing steps.
Using dual flow chromatography, PhyTip® columns repeatedly aspirate and dispense sample through the packed resin bed, maximizing contact between target molecules and the media for efficient binding, washing, and elution in small volumes. This format lets researchers screen and optimize DEAE-based purification conditions on automated liquid handling platforms before scaling to larger workflows.
