“We have been working with a Biotage® Initiator+ Alstra™ since January 2013. During this period, the instrument has proved both efficient and robust, enabling us to successfully accomplish a substantial number of synthesis (more than 1,500 coupling cycles to date) differing in peptide sequence and size (up to 60 residues).
We have also evaluated the instrument’s performances using different solid supports and operating in different synthetic scales (50–250 μmol). Reagent and solvent delivery is very precise, whilst synthetic protocols can be easily modified according to synthetic needs.
Whenever minor technical issues occurred, they were promptly solved by Biotage® staff. Overall, the Biotage® Initiator+ Alstra™ is in our opinion a very efficient and reliable instrument, and we are very satisfied with it!”
