The DryVap® Concentrator System automates the drying, evaporation, and concentration of organic solvent extracts prior to chromatographic analysis, combining what were once manual steps into one automated process. Combine the DryVap® with the Biotage® Solvent Recovery SVOC system to recover up to 95 % of the solvent vapor during the concentration process.

The DryVap® Concentrator System is designed with the fast-pace of production laboratories in mind. Once loaded, the system completes the evaporation procedure automatically, freeing up laboratory personnel for other tasks. Its ability to run a saved program eliminates common sources of variability stemming from a chemists' technique and helps to produce superior results time and time again.
When equipped with the DryDisk®-R Separation Membrane, the DryVap Concentrator System automates the process of drying samples, reducing the total number of manual transfers and the chance for accidents while increasing the sample throughput in your laboratory.
The DryVap Concentrator System is designed to run a variety of solvents typical to most environmental laboratories. Users can dry and concentrate 20 to 200 mL of solvent automatically with a typical concentration time of less than 60 minutes for 200 mL of dichloromethane.
Designed specifically to handle the volume of solvent vapor generated by the DryVap Concentrator System, the Solvent Recovery SVOC operates at 0°C using a chiller and is capable of condensing and capturing approximately 90 to 95 % of the solvent vapor (95 % for dichloromethane) when purchased with a new DryVap.
While the DryVap Concentrator System includes a set of glassware designed to stop at 0.9 mL, a variety of other glassware exists which extend the capabilities of the system:
Additionally two more-specialized pieces of glassware exist which can either allow the user to bring an extract all the way to dryness for those cases where reconstitution in an LC-friendly solvent desired, or to concentrate the extract directly into a typical autosampler vial, allowing the user to skip the extract transfer step.
