Protein purification column
Ion Exchange PhyTip® columns enable efficient purification of small protein samples using strong cation exchange chromatography. They can be used as a standalone purification step or as a polishing step following affinity chromatography, providing an orthogonal method to achieve highly pure final protein products. This approach ensures complete protein capture and high final concentrations. Using physiological buffers, ion exchange chromatography is generally gentle on proteins. The columns are suitable for efficient parallel purification of small protein samples.
PhyTip® columns use dual flow chromatography technology, pumping samples back and forth across the packed resin to maximize binding. The columns come with dual flow chromatography protocols, validated with real protein samples and fully transferable to any automated liquid handling system. Our buffer kits contain all the buffers needed for the purification protocol.
