Biotage® Horizon 5000

The Biotage® Horizon 5000 contains built-in safeguards which are designed to protect the sample being run and will automatically alert the user to anything which is out of the ordinary.

With three positions per module and up to four modules connected to a single PC, up to 12 samples can be run at one time.

Combining the Biotage® Horizon 5000 with either the Fast Flow or 90-mm Disk Holders and their associated Pre-Filters allows for the extraction of the whole sample with secondary extraction steps or messy emulsion formation.

While the Biotage® Horizon 5000 has made its name as an SPE disk extraction system, its capabilities are easily extended to some SPE cartridges applications with the optional 6-mL Cartridge Adapter allowing for the most flexibility in an automated system.

With up to 7 solvents able to be attached to the system, the Horizon 5000 can be programmed to run a wide variety of extraction methods based on common regulatory methods.

We know that free bench space in a laboratory is hard to come by and that space inside of a fume hood is even more rare. That’s why we designed the Biotage® Horizon 5000 to minimize its footprint by incorporating the use of internal fluid pumps rather than an external one and to allow the user to place solvent reservoirs on the top of the system. Additionally, the inclusion of a fan into the system allows the system to operate outside of a fume hood to free up that valuable space.
