ISOLUTE® SCX-2 cartridges and plates contain silica-based media with a bonded propylsulfonic acid group, ideal for isolating basic compounds. ISOLUTE® SCX-2 is the sorbent of choice when strong cation exchange is the primary retention mechanism, or if aqueous conditions are required for analyte elution.
ISOLUTE® SCX-2 efficiently separates basic targets from reaction mixtures and remove excess basic reagents, allowing neutral or acidic compounds to pass through to the collection vessel.
