POROS™ CaptureSelect™ IgM PhyTip® column  

PhyTip® column with POROS CaptureSelect™ IgM affinity matrix enables purification of IgM antibodies by binding to the Fc region of IgM. The affinity resin consists of a CaptureSelect™ ligand coupled to NHS-activated Sepharose™ 4 Fast Flow® resin from Cytiva.  

By binding to a unique domain on the Fc part of IgM, this affinity resin allows highly selective purification of human and mouse IgM without cross-reactivity with human and mouse IgG or IgA, even from complex sources such as plasma, serum, or cell culture supernatants. 

CaptureSelect™ affinity ligands from ThermoFisher are based on a 14 kDa recombinant antibody fragment, engineered for highly selective binding to specific regions of antibodies and antibody fragments.  
 
PhyTip® columns use dual flow chromatography technology, pumping samples back and forth across the packed resin to maximize binding. Efficient capture minimizes protein loss, with 70–90% recovery of lgGs, and a full 96-well plate can be purified in just 15 minutes. 

The columns come with dual flow chromatography protocols, validated with real protein samples and fully transferable to any automated liquid handling system. Our buffer kits contain all the buffers needed for the purification protocol.
