Streptavidin PhyTip® column
Protein purification column
Streptavidin PhyTip® columns enable automated affinity purification of biotin-tagged recombinant proteins using the exceptionally strong streptavidin–biotin interaction, the strongest non-covalent bond found in nature and widely used in biochemical research. Packed with resin containing immobilized streptavidin affinity ligand, these columns deliver efficient and consistent purification of biotin-tagged proteins.
Streptavidin PhyTip® columns are also well-suited for biotinylated protein assays, such as immunoprecipitation, where they can be used to immobilize a biotin-tagged protein to create a customized affinity column.
PhyTip® columns use dual-flow chromatography technology to ensure efficient binding of the entire sample to a small resin bed, enabling elution in small volumes and producing highly concentrated protein samples.
Streptavidin PhyTip® columns are available in resin bed volumes from 5 μL to 320 μL, suitable for protein samples from microgram to milligram scale and sample volumes between 100 μL and 50 mL. They are compatible with all major liquid handling platforms and come with pre-programmed automation protocols that can be easily customized for your application.
