Biotage® V-10 Touch
Fast and gentle evaporation system
Automated evaporation system designed for gentle removal of aqueous and organic solvents.
Explore the main benefits of Biotage® V-10 Touch
Walk-up, walk-away evaporation system
Biotage® V-10 Touch rapidly dries samples from both aqueous and organic solvents, including HPLC fractions and high boiling solvents like NMP and DMF. It eliminates the need for liquid-liquid-extractions and offers unrestricted solvent choice, improving synthesis efficiency while simplifying workflows in organic and peptide chemistry.
Fast, even for high-boiling solvents
The Biotage® V-10 touch rotates samples up to 8,000 rpm with precise heat and vacuum control for ultra-fast evaporation without bumping or contamination. By connecting an external vacuum pump to the system, also high-boiling solvents can be evaporated in minutes.
Simple and safe
The system interface provides precise, real-time control of temperature and pressure. Built-in methods simplify evaporation of common solvents, while flexible programming adapts to specific needs.
Greener chemistry
Biotage® V-10 Touch quickly removes high boiling solvents, enabling their flexible use in reactions. The system supports higher concentrations and temperatures with reduced solvent volumes. Its internal condenser captures evaporated solvents, preventing emissions in the lab.
Automation for high throughput
Connecting Biotage® V-10 Touch to a liquid handler with support from a solvent management module allows sequential evaporation of sample racks into one or multiple vials with the carousel option, supporting tasks like automated HPLC fraction removal. For advanced integration or remote control, a separate API enables custom software development and communication with the system via a pre-defined protocol.
