Extract Melamine from Milk Samples

Melamine is traditionally used in making plastics, however, it’s low cost and high nitrogen content has led to exploitation in various sections of the food industry, most notably involving dairy products. Sometimes used as an adulterant to increase apparent protein content in milk products such as infant formula, melamine is toxic, and can cause renal failure.
