    Purification of IgA, IgM, IgD, IgE and their Fab and Fab2 fragments by binding to the kappa light chain.

    PhyTip columns with CaptureSelect™ KappaXl affinity media can be used for purification of human antibodies as it binds with high specificity to human kappa light chains. This affinity media was specifically designed to purify all human kappa light chains (subclass I, II, III and IV) containing antibody formats and fragments, including kappa Fab, kappa Dab2’ and all subclasses of human kappa IgG, IgA, IgD, IgE and IgM.

    The affinity ligands of CaptureSelect™ medias from ThermoFisher are based on a recombinant antibody fragment of only 14 kDa in size that can be adapted for highly selective binding to certain parts or antibodies and antibody fragments.
