Biotage Selekt family release notes

Biotage®  Selekt software version 2.3 includes the following new features and enhancements:

UV status available in the Flushes and Purge view:

» Intensity Compared to Calibration: The current intensity of the UV detector at 254 and 325 nm are evaluated by comparing them to the intensity that were measured at the last UV calibration.
» Integration Time: The shutter time of the UV detector, i.e. the time the shutter is open to expose the detector with enough light to get a good reading.
» Lamp State: The state of the UV lamp (Off, Igniting, On – Warming, On – Ready, or Error).
» Lamp Hours: The number of hours the UV lamp has been lit.
» Last Calibration: The date when the last UV calibration was performed.

Improved error handling of low intensity problems
due to, for example, a dirty flow cell.

For sustainability reasons, the UV detector now enters sleep mode after 1 hour of user inactivity when the system is idle.
In previous software versions the time was 2 hours.

Improved calibration wizard for the internal UV detector.
It is, for example, no longer necessary to restart the system when aborting a calibration.
