    Our Finance team is growing! We are currently searching for suitable candidates to fill several new roles to join our Finance team, all based full time at our site outside of Cardiff.

    Working in a busy and growing finance team, the successful Accounts Assistant candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Management Accountant, manage a selection of balance sheet accounts, including inventory reserve, fixed assets, accounts receivable. You will also be involved this calculate monthly and quarterly VAT for 2 UK companies and communicating with multiple sites to ensure strong financial controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare balance sheet accounts monthly
    • Maintain monthly revenue data
    • Profit & Loss analysis
    • Maintain Fixed asset register
    • Load Trade Agreement documents in system when required
    • Run foreign exchange revaluation
    • Prepare VAT returns
    • Monitor Bank statements daily and reconcile accounts
    • Intercompany netting from related companies
    • Support MA calculating inventory reserve
    • Accounts receivable, ensure all invoices are raised timely
    • Assisting with Audits internal and external
    • Compile monthly financial reports
    • Assist with budget process
    • Assist with any other ad-hoc finance issues when requested

    Skills/Experience:

    • Previous accounts experience is essential.
    • Excellent communication skills, especially when speaking with customers.
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
    • Experience of working with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
    • Work well as an individual or as a team.
    • Willingness to learn new tasks to cover within the department.
